The UTC is recruiting a project manager, responsible for the operational management and coordination of the SUNRISE project at the UTC, as part of the SUNRISE Alliance of European Universities.

Job description

The Université de Technologie de Compiègne is seeking a project manager to oversee the operational management and coordination for the SUNRISE project at UTC, as part of the European University Alliance SUNRISE.

Mains activities

  • Manage the progress and advancement of the SUNRISE project at UTC operationally and administratively.

  • Coordinate for the UTC, the workpackage 1 (WP1) which focuses on the management of the SUNRISE alliance and be the alliance-level leader of task T1.2 entitled: « Establish steady governance and policies for long-term cooperation ».

  • Participate and contribute strongly to WP2 entitled « Build up the SUNRISE Campus creating an inclusive, collaborative, and synergetic work environment to unlock the potential of the alliance. »

  • Support the creation, deployment, and promotion of staff weeks.

  • Administer academic and non-academic staff mobilities within SUNRISE.

  • Contribute to non-scientific deliverables and activity reports.

  • Participate in specific work packages within the SUNRISE project.

37 hours and 30 minutes/week - 1,607 hours/year

Work environment and context

The project manager will work in an international environment closely collaborating with various stakeholders. They will report to the director of international relations.

Job requirements

Proven experience in project management and submission, particularly in European projects (especially ERASMUS+)

Skills

  • Project management in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.

  • Knowledge of European higher education and research ecosystem.

  • Proficiency in English and ability to conduct meetings and write documents.

  • Administrative and financial procedures knowledge.

  • Negotiation skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

  • Effective communication and organizational skills.

Degree, training and accreditation

  • Minimum Master's degree (Bac +5) in a relevant field, such as education sciences, international relations, project management, or a related discipline.

  • English language: good level of oral and written proficiency (B2/C1).
